Good Morning!

This is going to be a busy week. I have a lot of work to get done, a midday dental appointment, a Toastmasters meeting, and I am getting ready to get coached by two of the greatest speakers in the world, Darren LaCroix and Patricia Fripp.

If you want to join me, there are two spots left for their Get Coached to Speak Champ Camp. I am so excited for the experience of the camp. Because of that you might not hear much from me in the second half of the week…unless you take the plunge and join me. If you do that, then you will get to hear from me all day Thursday and Friday.

Why am I doing this? What am I going to get out of this. I suggest that you take a look at this sneak peak of a documentary that gives a hint of what I am working on.

Keep on speaking.

As I traveled around the United States in the summer of 2007 giving speeches about reaching new members across all generations, I made it a point to mention using blogs, YouTube, and other new technologies in order to deliver content that can attract new members of the Y-Generation. I realized that I was not practicing what I was preaching, so I decided to start a blog that would allow me to demonstrate how new technology can help organizations reach new members.

As the Vice President of Education of the Worthington Toastmasters #1028, I also have been tasked with finding new and innovative ways of delivering educational content to our members. This blog will allow me to also deliver education content to our members and demonstrate the use of blogs and other technologies to communicate the value of Toastmasters to our members, worldwide members, and all potential members that are reading this blog.
